Fashion & AccessoriesThe 1st generation: The now nostalgic first panels were stiff, and stuck onto the shirts using double side sticky tape. It was also encased by a rigid PVC laminate, making it uncomfortable to wear. The pioneer of wearable technology back in the late 1990s.
The 2nd generation: Introduced in 2000, the main improvements were in the increased flexibility of the panel and the ability to produce all sorts of non-standard animations using a custom IC add-on. The panel was also machine sewed on and had better waterproofing features which made this hand/ machine washable. This has set and is still the industry standard today.
The 3rd generation: The result of listening to our customers. The 3rd generation transcends the few remaining shortcomings of the 2nd. This latest innovation from our R&D department pays a lot of detail to making a truly soft (able to crease), comfortable and machine washable product.
